great little guide to slip in a pack, deserves its reputation.
ummm...it was really small. The book is 4.75" by 3.25" and was shipped from Europe. I have a hard time reading it but I guess it's meant to carry in your pocket, maybe? Not for me. The book jumps all over the place with general descriptions of things but not a lot of specific "how to".
So small i cant read the print. I like compact but i dobt want to use a magnify glass either
Great little book (actually a small book) to put in your backpack when you are going out and about. It has all kinds of info that may or may not apply to what you are doing but nicely written and makes you wonder if you can make some of the different things in the book.
I really like this book for its content and size. It’s well illustrated and includes color pictures. It’s packed with information, but small enough for me to take on the trail or other locations with me. I think this is a great survival tool.
Was surprised at the size of the book thought it would be bigger but realized if it was it would not be that easy to carry in the woods so I’m kind of glad it was small but still easy to read

This book is great for survival and such but I was disappointed. I guess the date 2015 just assures you that the information on this book is still good even though there should be some small corrections such as bashing a rock on the back of my knife to split wood... Not a good idea. I was intact hoping they would add some new material like the SAS survival handbook (2014 Edition) and add more about hunting and skinning animals or different ways to sharpen a knife, more details about hunting and skinning, water filtration, finding natural materials, feather sticks, or even carving a simple spear. but no this is the same information from the last pocket book (Published in 2010.) but overall it's a pretty good book for beginners, bush people, and survival junkies. Also I would love to help John 'Lofty' Wiseman with his next book; I have some useful information about survival.
This is a great survival book at a great price. This product shipped from Europe so it took half a month to arrive. That's my only gripe.
